Update on Symposium, “Then and Now: Andrew Johnson and Reconstruction,”

I regret to inform you that the Symposium, “Then and Now: Andrew Johnson and Reconstruction,” scheduled for September 17th has been cancelled. This was a difficult decision to make. Given the current and anticipated community health issues, however, we did not believe it was in the best interest of our speakers and the audience to hold the event. The Association and the Andrew Johnson National Historic Site firmly believe in the value of the discussion and intend to reschedule the event in the future.
